Terms of Use

By creating an account or using Voice2Journal, you confirm that you are at least 13 years old and that you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy at https://numinexstudio.com/voice2journal/privacy-policy. If you are under 18, you represent that a parent or guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms on your behalf.

Voice2Journal is a personal journaling app that lets you:

• Record voice memos and have them transcribed automatically
• Use AI to convert transcriptions into polished journal entries
• Search, filter, and export your journal entries
• Receive weekly AI-generated digest summaries of your journaling activity

Some features require a paid subscription (see Section 4).

To use Voice2Journal, you must create an account using your email address. You are responsible for:

• Keeping your account credentials secure
• All activity that occurs under your account
• Notifying us promptly at support@numinexstudio.com if you believe your account has been compromised

Please create only one account per person. We reserve the right to suspend accounts that appear to be duplicates or that are being used in violation of these Terms.

Voice2Journal offers a premium subscription called Voice2Journal Pro, which unlocks additional features:

• Billing: All purchases and billing are handled by Apple through the App Store. We never see or store your payment information.
• Auto-renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date.
• How to cancel: Open the App Store on your device → tap your profile → Subscriptions → Voice2Journal → Cancel Subscription.
• Refunds: Because billing is managed entirely by Apple, Numinex Studio cannot issue refunds. All refund requests must be directed to Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.
• Price changes: If subscription pricing changes, we will notify you in advance. Continued use after the change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the new price.

Your journal entries, recordings, and transcriptions belong to you. We don't claim ownership of your content.

By using the App, you grant Numinex Studio a limited license to process your content solely to provide the service — for example, to transcribe your recordings, generate AI summaries, and deliver weekly digests. We do not use your journal content for advertising, sell it to third parties, or use it to train AI models.

You are responsible for the content you create. Please do not use Voice2Journal to store or share anything illegal, harmful, or that violates another person's rights.

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the source code of the App
• Interfere with or disrupt the App's servers or infrastructure
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' accounts or data
• Use automated tools to scrape, crawl, or access the App in bulk
• Impersonate another person or entity

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.

You can delete your account at any time from within the App (Settings → Remove Account). When you delete your account:

• All journal entries, recordings, transcriptions, and account data are permanently deleted
• This action cannot be undone
• Your subscription (if any) will not be automatically cancelled — you must cancel it separately through the App Store to avoid future charges

The Voice2Journal app — including its design, code, branding, and features — is owned by Numinex Studio and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from the App without our written permission.

Your journal content is yours. We make no claim to ownership of anything you write or record.

Voice2Journal uses the following third-party services to operate:

• Supabase — authentication and data storage
• RevenueCat — subscription management
• Sentry — crash and error reporting
• Firebase — usage analytics
• Apple — in-app purchases and distribution

These services have their own privacy policies and terms. We are not responsible for their practices.

Voice2Journal is provided "as is" and "as available." We make no warranties — express or implied — about the App's reliability, accuracy, availability, or fitness for a particular purpose. We do not guarantee that the App will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that any data will be preserved indefinitely. You use the App at your own risk.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Numinex Studio shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of (or inability to use) the App — including loss of data, lost profits, or personal injury.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising out of these Terms or your use of the App shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim (or $10 USD if you have not made any payments).

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we'll update the "Last Updated" date at the top. If the changes are significant, we'll notify you through the App or by email. Your continued use of the App after changes are posted means you accept the updated Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Kansas, USA, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of Kansas.
